Well if you are reading this you probably want to know what this website is all about. It is quite simple really, it is just basically stuff about technology or at least related to technology. There are a few areas that we will mainly be covering and most of it will be involving mobile devices, social networks, the internet/world wide web or even open source related. The reason we tend to focus on these area because we feel that it is the future.

The word "avoin" means Open in Finnish, I choose the finnish language not only because it is a wonderful language but many wonderful tech-related stuff come from Finland, example like Nokia, IRC and MySQL.

This website main aim is to share knowledge, if we find an interesting video online we will post it up with our comments, if we find a topic which we think it is important we will discuss it, if we find a common problem most people encounter and we have a solution we will post it. Our website's motto is "Going beyong regular technology news" and we are sticking to it, we don't want to be just another technology news site or blog, we only want to bring you stuff that matters along with tons of original articles or news. We will try our best not to copy-paste or link news back to other website/blogs and come up with important original stuff most of the time.
