Have you heard the saying " It walks like a duck, it quacks like a duck, so it is a duck ", well apparently Apple didn't, for some time now they have been taking pot shots at Netbooks calling them low-powered PCs and saying no one wants them. Now Apple is release a smaller version of their MacBook Air, which surprise surprise looks like a Netbook. So in Apple's case "It walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, but it is not a duck cause we told you so". Read on to find out more about their new device.

Finally after one year 3 months, my trusty Netbook gave in to my pressure. I guess I was too uber for it. This netbook has been with me all over malaysia, from north to south of Malaysia. I even took it overseas to places like Singapore (3 times already) and even India. (Yes, it even visited the Taj Mahal with me). Now we need to get down into the mystery on what finally killed it.

Few days ago, Broadcom announced that they were finally going to open source their drivers for Linux. What this translate too is that now WiFi in Linux just got a whole lot easier.

Besides announcing that they are making a Android Based tablet called Cius aimed for Business users, Cisco also has a Ubuntu tablet in the works. Called the HEC Tablet.

I see a lot of people are talking down on netbooks saying it is too small to do any work. 
Netbooks are a branch of mini notebooks, a rapidly evolving category of small, light and inexpensive laptop computers suited for general computing and accessing web-based applications; they are often marketed as "companion devices," that is, to augment a user's other computer access.
